Dear Contributors,
Legion Solar Android V5.1.2 Release has been published on Google Play and is now ready for download. If you encounter any issues, please be sure to report it within the app's feedback section. Be sure to routinly update your app as new features are being implemented on both Apple and Android platforms regularily.
What's next?
Apple and Android Versions of 5.1.3 are currently being worked on. New features will include
- Converting Inverter Only Set to Inverter + Battery Commander Set without having to do a complete system resetup. This makes upgrading sets to the lihtium batteries much easier.
- Converting Inverter + Battery Commander to Inverter Only Set without having to do a complete system resetup. This makes downgrading sets much easier.
- Minor Bug fixes in historical data download.
- Resync historical data from Solar Regulator feature.
- Integrated troubleshooting guide in the app to make Legion Solar DIY experience easier to diagnose and pinpoint any trouble issues.
An update will be published when this version is ready for download.
We are nearly complete with fulfillment. We are waiting on one final container of raw materials to clear US Customs which is scheduled to be mid this month. Dear Contributors,
We are pleased to inform you that Legion Solar 5 fulfillment is over halfway complete. We estimate that we will complete all fullfillment by the end of July. If your contribution included lithium batteries, we estimate that we will start shipping the lithium batteries to you starting next week. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your items ship. Lithium batteries are considered dangerous goods and special care and regulatory requirements are needed to ensure the safe transport. Our team has recently obtained and passed all certifications pertaining to shipment of lithium batteries.
We have also just published version 5.1.2 Legion Solar app available for download on the Apple App store. We estimate that version 5.1.2 Legion Solar app for Android users will soon be available for download from Google Play early July. Please be sure that you have version 5.1.2 or later to operate and setup your Legion Solar 5 system.
All shipments are insured. We ask that when you receive the goods to open and inspect them for any damage. If you have received items that may have been damaged, please notify us within 5 business days for domensic shipments and within 48 hours for international shipments otherwise the deadline to file an insurance claim with the carrier may not be available to you.

Dear Contributors,
We are pleased to inform you that fulfillment has resumed. US Customs and Border Protection has finally released shipments of our raw materials. This has been the longest time in 20+ years of business have we seen such a delay from this Federal branch of our government. We apologize for the inconvienience and thank you for your patience.
We are pleased to inform you that ALL Basic Starter Sets have completed fulfillment. Tracking number(s) have been emailed out. We are currently completing fulfillment of the Deluxe Starter Sets and all remaning sets. You will receive tracking numbers as soon as the shipping labels have generated.
We have also updated our Legion Solar Operating Manual.

Dear Contributors,
We'd like to update you on our fulfillment status. We have received Battery Commanders 2.0, Off Grid Controllers, and Off Grid Inverters in our Fremont, CA warehouse and they are currently going through inspection, assembly, programming, quality control and kitting. We're waiting for US Customs to release the Micro Inverter Gen4, Solar Panels and Solar Regulator components. Once we receive confirmation that these items have been released by US Customs, they will be dispatched to our warehouse. We expect perk fulfillment to resume before June 2021.
Legion Solar is designed in Silicon Valley, CA with various raw material components sourced worldwide. All raw componets are then inspected, assembled, tested and quality controlled in California before they are shipped to our customers. In our 20 years of business we have never seen California ports so heavily congested. Since January 2021 California ports have been congested far beyond normal processing times. This has attributed to the delays that we are seeing.
